Enjoy some of my favorite shots of Southern Idaho, Summer 2013. All taken with my iPhone 4S, with an Instagram twist. Find me on Instagram at @angelabdesign.
Summer began with sightings of ducklings all throughout our neighborhood. A neighbor girl brought this little one over to say hi.
Meet Mini-Coop, the lil’ one that got left behind 🙁
Did you know that clematis blooms turn into Lorax?!
Here’s a quick video clip of the Snake River Canyon in Twin Falls, Idaho. Majestic. It’s such a shame that only when we grow up and move away from such beauty, do we appreciate it.
We spent Independence Day in Hailey, Idaho, and got to experience the local parade.
Here’s our parade perching spot, The Wicked Spud. We enjoyed a few of their hard ciders from our lawn chairs out front. It was perfect.
During that visit, we trekked to Sun Valley for an afternoon of sight-seeing.
Back in Meridian, now. Gino’s patio – one of my favorite places to be, to enjoy carbs in solid and liquid form 😉
Remember Mini-Coop? This is the same duckling, about 5 weeks later!
Chloe and I had fun making a little art in our yard one day: a heart-home for some rolie pollies.
This summer I frequented a nearby farmer’s produce stand. Sweet mother. These plums are the best I’ve ever had.
One day during lunch a colorful something caught my eye from behind the window.
I got closer and snapped a picture. This shot is from behind the window! I can’t believe how its body is spotted, too. So pretty.
Then I went outside and caught a little video. It almost flew right into me!
We had our share of smoke this summer, from numerous surrounding fires. Worst part of the summer, in my opinion. Some days the sun was a hazy orange.
One day we had quite the rainstorm in Meridian. It’s so weird when it rains while the sun is shining.
I ended the summer with drinks with friends, celebrating the official formation of the Boise Modern Quilt Guild in the perfect place.
