Polaroid Swap

05 August

The world of online sewing swaps is so much fun.  I enjoyed my first experience so much (Hoop La La), that I just couldn’t pass this one up.  I first saw it on Instagram (no surprise).  Fabric polaroids!

I’m sending 19 of these to Kris, and she’ll send me 19 made by other people.  Read her post to learn more.  I’m keeping one of these for myself, for who-knows-what.

To make these, just cut 2.5″ squares from a cotton print, sew some 1″ white fabric strips to the sides and top, then stitch a 1.5″ strip to the bottom.  Mine are black and white polaroids 🙂

This material is quite possibly the perfect fabric for making these.

I especially like that they are black and white. Some of my favorites I’ve ever seen. It’ll be fun to see all the ones you get back 🙂
