Enjoy some of my favorite shots of Southern Idaho, Spring 2014. All taken with my iPhone 5S, with an Instagram twist. Find me on Instagram at @angelabdesign.
If the neighbor girls strolling a bunny around in a doll buggy is not a sign of Spring, I don’t know what is.

The first of my beautiful plants to spring to life is the bleeding heart. It starts popping out of the ground like this.

Then all kinds of heart babies form…

And row after row after row of hearts grow. I love these!

This year we installed a birdhouse that our neighbor friends made for us. My neighbor designed and assembled it, and I painted and tiled the roofs.

I hope some birds move in here – there’s room for 7 families 🙂

My new lilac bloomed for the first time!

And the anenome blooms make an appearance, too.

Here’s the Idanha Building in downtown Boise. <sigh> I love Boise.

And here’s my husband, a Boise hacker. The best lookin’ software engineer in Boise is mine all mine 😉 We got this shirt from our buds over at Wear Boise. Wear Your Where!

Clematis craziness!

A clematis closeup shows the tiniest bit of yellow in there. Complementary colors in the wild! Yellow and purple.

And analogous colors in the wild: yellow and green on a hosta. Can you tell I’m learning about color theory?

One of my favorite parts of spring is being able to hang out on the porch. Hard cider on ice for me, and a beer and cigar for my man.

Lunching on the patio. #heckyeahiputchipsinmysandwich

Aw, these two. Mom and Dad at Blue Heart Springs. For Dad’s birthday we went on a dinner cruise on the Snake River in Hagerman. Turns out this was where Mom and Dad had their first date! Aw!

Love these shy little guys. Mediterranean Bells. Hey! More purple and yellow complementary colors! And green and red in the background! Nature is an artist.

I love it when the viburnum blooms. It’s such a pretty lacy delicate thing.

And then there’s the blaze rose at the front of our house. Note to self: reinforce the support on this guy before it blooms next year.

Blaze rose blooms in sunlight = beautiful.
