How to Make a Luggage Handle Wrap – a Sewing Project

Luggage Handle Wrap

Why on earth are most luggage pieces black?  To appeal to the masses, I suppose.  But wow, it sure makes it hard to spot your luggage at the airport.  This project fixes that problem.  And it spiffs up your luggage at the same time.

Luggage Handle Wrap Pieces

This project is great for using up your fabric scraps – you only need 6 x 6 1/2-inch pieces.  For the main floral fabric, I used Sky Carrie from the Girl’s World Vibe collection by Jennifer Paganelli.  The lining fabric is a small cotton print in teal blue, from Jo-Ann Fabrics.

This is a super-easy project to make.  I made three of them in no-time flat – one for each of my luggage pieces.   Now I’m stylin’!

This is a great tutorial — idiot proof:) I’ve been looking to make my own luggage markers and handle wraps. Thanks!
